Tournament Rules of Champions Turbo Deluxe 2026

Conditions of participation

These are the requirements for participation in the tournament:

• At least 10 rated games played
• More than 30 days chessmail member
• The tournament is password protected, to participate you need to know the password.

Registration is possible until the maximum number of participants is reached. The tournament starts automatically as soon as the last player registers. The number of participants must be a power of two (2, 4, 8, 16, 32...).

Use of tools

It must be used no chess computer or engine to find the chess moves in this tournament. Other aids, such as books, opening databases and the free board are allowed.

Tournament mode

Each round consists of knockout matches between pairs of players. Each match consists of two games (one with each color). The player with more points advances.

In case of a tie, the player with the lower rating at tournament start advances. If ratings are identical, the winner is decided by lot.

Games are rated as follows. Win: 1 point, Draw: ½ point, Loss: 0 points.

You can make a pause during the tournament. Pauses are declared in the user settings.

Tournament direction

The tournament will be directed by the club FAIRPLAYERS 2015 , represented by member TscheierDeluxe.

Dieses Turnier ist ein automatisches K.O. Turnier. Nach Start erledigt Chessmail die Paarungen und alles Weitere!

Bei einem 1:1 im K.O. Duell kommt der Schwächere Teilnehmer (Wertung zum Turnierstart) eine Runde weiter.
